Your tour will begin by visiting the Aswan high dam , which is a rock –fill dam constructed to control the nile floods once and for all, then you will visit the amazing Philae temple which dedicated to the goddess Isis, and it is one of the Nubian Temples rescued by egyptian governement and UNESCO before the Aswan High Dam was built. The construction began during the reign of King Ptolemy II and completed by other kings, The Temple was designed in the same style as the Temples of the New Kingdom, but many other elements appeared in the Graeco-Roman style, such as the Mamisi (the birth house of Horus), and the Nilometer. Then continue your tour and enjoy a visit to the Unfinished Obelisk which still lies in the granite quarries which provided ancient Egypt with red granite. Most believe it belonged to the famous queen Hatshepsut. The obelisk's creators began the task to carve it directly out of bedrock, but cracks appeared later in the granite and the project was abandoned. After you finish your tour now Enjoy a lunch break at a local restaurant in Aswan, then take a felucca ride for about an hour to enjoy the river breeze, then you will be driven back to your hotel.
