
March 2026 Full Egypt Tour
Come and enjoy the sights of Egypt. Tour the Giza Plateau and the spectacular Egyptian Museum. Visit the old capital of ancient Egypt before travelling to Aswan where you will embark on your Nile cruise to explore the amazing ancient temples and the magical Nile River.
Day 1 - Arrival in Cairo
Our representative will meet you at Cairo International Airport, transfer you to your hotel, help with your check-in, and give you detailed information concerning your itinerary.
Overnight: Cairo (Steigenberger Tahrir Hotel)
Day 2 - Cairo: The Pyramids of Giza & The Sphinx
After breakfast, Ahmed Hakim, your Egyptologist guide will pick you up from the hotel to accompany you for a visit to The Great Giza Pyramids; constructed between 2589 and 2530 BC by the three famous rulers of the 4th dynasty: Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. These amazing pyramids are the last standing of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Afterward, you will ride a camel by the great pyramids where you can take good pictures of all nine pyramids lined up together in one shot.
Then we will see the great sphinx of Giza, located southeast of the pyramids. The date of its construction is not known for certain, but most believe the face of the sphinx represents King Chephren. This mythical animal which has the head of the pharaoh with a lion's body is cut from the bedrock of limestone. Then on to a lunch stop with a view of the pyramids before returning to the hotel to relax.

Day 3 - Cairo: Grand Egyptian Museum
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven to spend the day at The Grand Egyptian Museum, which is not only Egypt’s new crown jewel, but is also one of the largest, most modern, and most renowned museums in the entire world.
In 2002, the Egyptian Government announced a worldwide competition for the design of a new museum complex to house, display and preserve some of the world’s most ancient treasures with which Egypt has the privilege of being entrusted. This site is only two Kilometers away from Egypt’s greatest monuments, the Pyramids of Giza.

Day 4 - Cairo: Saqqara & Memphis & Wissa Wasif
After breakfast at the hotel you will be driven to Memphis, the Capital of ancient Egypt founded during the Old Kingdom by pharaoh Menes. You will continue to Saqqara, an ancient burial ground in Egypt. There you will visit the world-famous Step Pyramid of Djoser, the most splendid monument at Saqqara. We will visit one of the Saqqara weaving schools where we will see beautiful handwoven rugs. After a break for lunch at a local restaurant, we will travel to visit Wissa Wasif, an amazing tapestry and batik center. We then will head back to the hotel for a relaxing evening.

Day 5 - Cairo: National Museum of Egyptian Civilization NMEC Saladin Citadel, Mohamed Ali Mosque, Coptic Cairo, Khalili Bazaar.
After breakfast you will visit the NMEC which opened recently in April 2021, where you can meet the mummies of the kings of ancient Egypt in person for the first time. The museum also hosts artifacts from ancient times, the Middle Ages, and modern Egypt. Afterward you will explore Saladin citadel, one of the most iconic monuments in Islamic Cairo. Over the centuries many monuments were added to the citadel, such as The Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha known as the alabaster mosque. You will then break for lunch before visiting the hanging church, one of the oldest churches in Egypt. Then on to visit the cavern church where the holy family stayed during their journey to Egypt.

Overnight: Sleeper Train to Aswan
Day 6 - Arrival Aswan / Check in hotel / Felucca ride and Nubian Village
Arrival Aswan and check in, then afternoon take a ride in a Felucca, a traditional wind-powered Egyptian boat. Take in the view of Elephantine Island and the botanical gardens, relax, and enjoy the river breeze. Continue by a motorboat to visit the Nubian village and explore the life of the natives of Aswan before heading back to your hotel.

Day 7: Optional tour Fly to Abu Simble & Back to Aswan
After breakfast you will catch your flight to Abu Simbel which is approximately a 40-minute flight. There you will visit the Great temple of Ramses II and the temple of his wife Queen Nefertari, which was cut into the mountain. Both temples were discovered in 1813 almost completely sanded up and Belzoni cleared them in 1817. Both temples were moved in 1964 with the help of Egyptian government and UNESCO to avoid the rising water of the Nile. After finishing your visit, you will catch your flight back to Aswan and be driven back to your hotel. The cost of this optional tour is $350. People not taking the tour can hang out at the hotel or walk around Aswan.

Day 8 - Check out / visit Philae temple / Check in Dahabeya / Sailing to Kom-Ombo
After breakfast you will check out and visit Philae temple which dedicated to the Goddess Isis, was built during the Ptolemaic era and was one of the last ancient Egyptian temples to remain active, only closing its doors in the reign of the Byzantine Emperor Justinian I (527–565 AD), then after you will check-in Dahabeya and start sailing to Kom-Ombo .
You will have lunch on board, then afternoon you will visit Kom-Ombo temple which dedicated to two gods Horus the falcon god, and Sobek the crocodile god of fertility. After finishing your tour, you will return to the Dahabeya and set sail to Aswan. On the Dayabeya we will only be with our group.

Day 9 - Sailing to Edfu
Today you will have a full day sailing and enjoy the river breeze and the scenery.

Day 10 - Edfu Temple / Tombs of Al-kab
After breakfast you will visit the temple of Horus the falcon headed god. The temple is the most preserved and intact of all Egypt, was built during the Ptolemaic era on the ruins of an ancient Egyptian temple.
Return to the Dahabeya and set sail to Al-Kab, the ancient site of Nekheb, home of the Vulture Goddess who protected the pharaohs, and explore the tombs of the new kingdom which belonged to Ahmose, 'Captain-General of Sailors' under Pharaoh Ahmose I (1550–1525 BC).
After finishing your tour, you will return to the Dahabeya and continue sailing.

Day 11 - Visit Esna Temple & Sail to Luxor via Esna lock
After breakfast on board, you will visit Esna temple, which is dedicated to the god Khnum, the Ram-headed God who fashioned humankind on his potter’s wheel using Nile clay. After, you will head back to the Dahabeya and enjoy the sailing and the scenery of the Nile.

Day 12 – Check out / Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut Temple & Colossi of Memnon / Check in hotel
After breakfast you will check out the Dahabeya and start your tour to the mysterious Valley of the Kings where 64 tombs were discovered. Next, you will continue to the unique Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. She was not the only queen to rule ancient Egypt, but her fame came from all the monuments she constructed that are still standing. Next, carry on to the magnificent Colossi of Memnon, two huge statues of king Amonhotep III. After your tour, you will be driven to the hotel to check in.

Day 13 – Hot Air Balloon / Karnak & Luxor Temples
Early in the morning you will be picked up from the hotel to experience the ballon over Luxor to explore the ancient temples and the valley of the kings during the sun rise to enjoy that mix of nature the west bank of Luxor provides.
After you will return to your hotel to have breakfast.
After Breakfast you will start your tour to Karnak Temples, dedicated to the Theban triad God Amon, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu. After finishing your tour, you will be driven back to the hotel to rest. By sunset you will visit the majestic Luxor Temple, which was constructed approximately 1400 BC, by King Amunhotep III, of the 18th Dynasty New Kingdom and completed by Ramesses II of the 19th.

Day 14 - Check Out / free day or optional tour to Dendara temple / final departure
A free relaxing day with an opportunity of an optional tour to visit the temple of Dendara ( About an hour 20 Mins drive ) one of the most colorful and best preserved temples in Egypt, the temple of the goddess Hathor, one of the most important goddesses in ancient Egyptian religion known as the goddess of love and joy, the decoration of the temple is unique and explaining about Astronomy in ancient Egypt.
After finishing your visit take a safe drive back to Luxor airport to catch your flight back to Cairo. Meals: Breakfast.
